Kathmandu

I was asked by Kathmandu Holdings (Melbourne) to photograph their Wellington CBD store re-design in Willis Street. Photographed primarily on the morning of opening day, it featured a stunning wrap-around mural by local artist Sean Duffel. The colourful artwork of local fauna and flora also invigorated interior elements, such as the staircase and dressing rooms. The store’s large open plan space was thoughtfully carved up into creative retail zones with elements of interest interspersed throughout, such as the water fill station, community notice board with wireless mobile recharging and a photobooth.

There was a lot to cover in the relatively small time window I was assigned and I had to move quickly to capture the large store with its two entrances and extensive feature set of design elements. Below is a selection of photos the client ordered. Please note that the images are the copyright of Kathmandu Holdings, who I assigned the rights to - they have kindly granted me permission to use them here on my website.

Wow!!! These photos are amazing. Thank you so much.
